2008 Priority Issues

Priority issues for 2008 will include positioning the Chamber as the organization focused on creating a shared vision for growing and expanding technology businesses, supporting the growth of emerging and existing companies, providing input and direction to the Chamber’s economic development efforts and providing a unified voice for the industry to local and state government and talent development. To accomplish these goals the Technology division will continue the AusTech Alliance which consists of representatives from technology vertical industry groups, leaders of technology support organizations and technology business leaders. They will meet to discuss and develop an actionable agenda as well as sponsor the annual Austin Brain Party and publish Tech Bytes electronic newsletter.
