2006 Chamber Membership Campaign “Accelerate the Momentum” Closes with Success

With a vision to “Accelerate the Momentum,” board members and community leaders have worked diligently with their teams since April 24 to bring 310 new members to the Greater Austin Chamber with commitments totaling $161,461.

“We are very excited by the response we received during the campaign,” said Roger Mitchell, Chamber Chair Elect and President of Texas Gas Service. “The successful numbers we obtained speak to the initiative of the 40-plus teams and over 300 volunteers. Such dedication allows the Chamber to make a sizeable increase in its membership and then give back that added value to all members.”
