Congressman McCaul to Update Chamber Members on Action in Washington

Congressman Michael McCaul will discuss how legislation passed by Congress will help businesses in the future during a Greater Austin Chamber Public Policy luncheon on Monday, August 15. Congressman McCaul will also give a progress report on his first year in Washington D.C., the status of priority federal issues for Central Texas and his focus for the remainder of his term.

Congressman McCaul was elected in 2004 to represent the newly defined 10th Texas Congressional District that extends from downtown Austin through northeast Travis County to the Houston area. Congressman McCaul serves on the Homeland Security Committee where he works to secure borders. Congressman McCaul also serves on the Committee on International Relations and the Committee on Science which provides him the ability to enhance Texas' role as a global leader in technology.
