Skillpoint Alliance and Title Sponsor Greater Austin Chamber Presents the 9th Annual College & Career Fair for High School Students

Higher education, career, financial aid for college, and entertainment are the highlights of the 9th Annual College and Career Fair for high school students. About 3,000 high school students and over 130 exhibitors, representing industries and colleges, are expected to attend. Skillpoint Alliance (formerly Capital Area Training Foundation) with the Greater Chamber of Austin, serving as title sponsor, offers the opportunity for students to learn about education and skills necessary for future jobs. The career fair will also offer "mini" college panel sessions with guest speakers, performances by UT and Texas A&M's "Go Theatres"; a financial aid plaza with presentations from TG and University Federal Credit Union; a cool robotics arena; culinary schools cooking demonstrations and much more. Platinum sponsors for this year's event include AMD, Austin American-Statesman, FOX 7, Austin Business College, and Titus Electrical Contracting, Inc.
