  • The Austin Business Journal is a weekly periodical. Call 512-494-2500 for information.
  • The Austin Chronicle is Austin's free weekly newspaper covering local arts, politics, music and more.
  • The Daily Texan put out daily by The University of Texas at Austin is one of the largest student-run newspapers in the country.

Special interest newspapers include Capitol Times (249-2177), El Mundo (476-8636), El Norte Spanish Newspaper (448-1023), La Prensa (478-3090) Nokoa (499-8719) and the Villager (476-0082). In addition, nearly every city and some neighborhoods have their own newspaper. Each university has its own paper and there are a number of specialized publications.
