Capitol Aggregates Austin

H.B. “Pat” Zachry, Sr., acquired Capitol Aggregates in 1957 to provide aggregate materials for Zachry’s construction of taxiways and runways at Bergstrom Air Force Base in Austin, Texas. In nearly 50 years since then, Capitol has expanded from its Austin origin to operate quarries and production facilities throughout Texas, producing more than 6 million tons of aggregate annually for the construction industry.

Capitol Aggregates maintains its reputation as a careful steward of the natural resources surrounding its operations. The company participates in industry organizations to share its experience with other operators.
